The UK Government’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs organised a NANoREG UK Stakeholder Meeting on 15 September 2015 in London. The aim of the meeting was to give project stakeholders an update on the work that the UK is contributing to the NANoREG project. The meeting was attended by stakeholders from academia, industry and government and attendees received presentations from the overall project coordinator, Tom van Teunenbroek, and members of the UK NANoREG Consortium.
National strategy meeting discusses UK approach to NANoREG project

Representatives from all 5 of the UK’s NANoREG consortium partners met with members of the UK NANoREG Steering Group at Heriot Watt University on Tuesday 7th January 2014. The aims of this one-day meeting were to:
a. Provide an opportunity for the UK consortium and Steering Group to meet and familiarise themselves with their respective roles on the Project;
b. Discuss and agree the UK aims and strategic approach for the Project; and consider ways in which these can be optimally pursued by the consortium partners and UK stakeholders and
c. Discuss and develop proposals/actions to deliver on UK priorities through the NANoREG project. The meeting included detailed discussion on the Project’s approach. This included the headline messages listed below.
