The Ministry of Economy and Competiveness(MINECO) is the national coordinator of NANoREG in Spain. This includes a coordinating role among the Spanish regulatory authorities: the Ministry of Agriculture: the Food and Environment, Ministry of Health; the Social Services and Equality; the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism; and the Ministry of employment and social security. MINECO also facilitates a network within the Spanish NANoREG partners, organizations of industry and NGO’s.

The Fundación GAIKER-IK4 is a Technology Centre committed to provide industrial companies with innovative know-how and novel technologies. Within NANoREG the Fundación GAIKER-IK4 is strongly involved, as task leader and partner, in WP5.

LEITAT is a Technological Centre is specialized in production technologies. LEITAT develops techniques R&D activities in the areas of materials sciences, environment, surface treatments, dispersion protocols as well as on modelling and measurement procedures for biotechnologies, biomedicine and renewable energies and has deep knowledge and experience in technological transfer to several industrial sectors. Within NANoREG LEITAT is involved as task leader and partner in WP2, WP3 and WP5.

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) is involved in the scientific tasks of NANoREG WP5, mainly related to the genotoxic risk of manufactured nanomaterials under different conditions.

The technological institute of construction (AIDICO) carries out R&D projects intended to improve building materials, building systems and production processes as well as the design of procedures capable of simulating and evaluating the characteristics of all these.Within NANoREG AIDIVO is strongly involved in WP2 and WP3.

The Packaging, Transport and logistics research center (ITENE) is specialized in research on safety applied to nanoscale materials, including: occupational safety, nanotoxicology and (Q)SARs models, aimed at defining the (eco)toxicological profile of nanoparticles. Within NANoREG ITENE is strongly involved, as task leader and partner, in WP3.

University of Lleida, Lleida Electrochemistry Group (UDL) is specialized in the physicochemical study of the interaction of trace metals with biointerfaces and colloidal systems (macromolecules and nanoparticles) of environmental relevance. Within NANoREG UdL is strongly involved in WP2 and WP5.

The FUNDACIÓN TEKNIKER is a Spanish research institute aiming at developing technologies and transfer to the industry. TEKNIKER has been involved in the development on final products containing nanoparticles during several years, in order to achieve higher performance. Within NANoREG it is strongly involved as task leader and partner in WP1, WP4 and WP7.
