The 7 Norwegian NANoREG project partners (NILU, SINTEF, UiB, STAMI, UMB, Genøk and CBT) represent 9% of all NANoREG partners. These institutions are core members of the SafeNano Norway Network (www.safenano-norway.com), established by SINTEF (Andy Booth). The SafeNano Norway brings together a national network of researchers both to contribute to the Europe-wide initiative to develop a common approach to the regulatory testing of MNMs and to articulate and apply this to issues of specific relevance in Norway.
National network SafeNano Norway was established with the aim to create a self-sustaining national network for industry and scientists to develop safe nanotechnology and increase public confidence in nanoproducts.
